Safe Place to Play

A project created and administrated by the Independent Musicians Alliance, with funding from Jazz in the Neighborhood, Music in Place, and Music Traditions/Paul Dresher Ensemble

The Safe Place to Play is a FREE play/rehearsal space for up to 8 musicians with backline and COVID-19 protocols in place. Click here for the current schedule and sign up link.

The Paul Dresher Ensemble has generously agreed to put in the extra funds and effort to establish safety protocols and invite us to their studio space in West Oakland. We created this opportunity for you to create music with your colleagues and help you feel better in these challenging times! We continue to work at creating equitable performance opportunities going forward for your music.
