FAQs

What if a student cannot afford lessons at $80/hour?

Individual students can apply for limited scholarships which will subsidize up to 75% of teaching fees through an application process. Details and application information for these subsidies can be found here.

How will I get paid through the scholarship program?

The Emerging Artist Scholarship program is funded by Jazz in the Neighborhood’s Guaranteed Fair Wage Fund for Teachers. Once your student is accepted, we will contact you about the agreement. You’ll submit your lessons in this form in order to organize payment for your subsidized lessons.
