Teaching Experience: I'm in my third year with the SFJAZZ Education Department working with middle school students. I have also been on the faculty at Stanford Jazz Workshop for 20 years with High School age students, as well as adult private lessons. In addition, I have had more than 20 years of working with the San Francisco Symphony's Adventures In Music program for elementary school students. I have been teaching online by way of Zoom since March.

Teaching Style/Philosophy: “All students learn differently. Whether starting from the beginning or targeting an immediate need, I work with them on getting the tools and strategies that help develop the skills they need to understand and play jazz, blues and many other genres.”
